A tourist cluster might appear in the Ulyanovsk Region. The USSR museum will become its central part.

The proposal of the USSR museum foundation in Ulyanovsk was considered and approved at the federal level. It is planned to build a tourist cluster that includes several units. The foreign tourists who come to Russia are interested in the USSR theme. That is why it has been decided to set up the USSR museum till the 2022, when the 100th anniversary of the USSR foundation will be celebrated. At present, the conception of cluster territory is in the process of development. The renewed Druzhba Narodov Park, an interactive scientific-educational centre for children, and the reconstructed hotel «Sovetskaya» should appear there. Perhaps, the museum of political history will be founded in the White House.
