From March, 2013 the Russian Federation and Croatia simplified visa requirements. The agreement regulates two-way travel for the citizens of the Russian Federation and Croatia.

The validity of a single entry visa will be limited to 90 days. Under the new agreement a standard travel document completed by a travel company will be enough for issuing tourist visas. The agreement also clearly defines the terms of visa applications. The visa processing period will be from two to five working days for a single entry visa and up to 14 working days for a multiple visa.
