Guard Mount: the First Ceremony

The first ceremony of the Kremlin Regiment guard mount was celebrated in Moscow.


Moscow Kremlin opened the 10th season of  the guard mount. The guard in dress uniform of the century that was confirmed by Nicholas II, appeared on the block pavement of the Cathedral Square. At 12:00 on Saturdays from April till October of the 2013 on the Cathedral Square of Moscow Kremlin the demonstration of the Kremlin Regiment cavalry and pedestrian army ceremonial is held. Every last Saturday of month the ceremonial takes place on Red Square at 14:00. Specially trained guard and honourable cavalry regiment escort take part in the ceremony. The presidential orchestra provides the music. The ceremonial viewing is included in the cost of the one ticket for the the Cathedral Square architectural complex visiting.
