New Buses: Folding Seats, Sliding Doors

The seats of Moscow buses will be folded up during rush hours.


New high-capacity buses will appear in Moscow soon. The seats that can be folded up will be used in such buses. It will be possible to fold up such seats in a rush hour to provide a possibility to accommodate more passengers. The limited quantity of such seats will be determined by the planners.


Besides, the doors will be slider like in the underground. Such doors are much more expensive, but it will simplify entrance and leaving for disabled persons.


Moreover, new subway cars with folding seats can appear in the underground. At the same time the turnstiles that decelerate entrance of passengers will not be abolished.
