It is supposed that tourists should be attracted not by a touristic zone, but by hunting in Buryatia. The deputies of the People's Khural have discussed the problems of the republic hunting sector. As it turned out, one of the most profitable directions is hunting tourism with the participation of the foreigners, because the license cost for them is quite higher.

The foreign guests come to Buryatia for hunt from the 1990-s. The special interest is attracted by hunt for bears. But to make Buryatia «a hunting republic», initially it’s necessary to build good hunting bases, winter huts, and to widen the sphere of hunting services.
