Tourism Cluster "Kladez Zemli Kostromskoi" (Wellspring of the land of Kostroma) will take 1,200 hectares.
On the border of Kostroma and Ivanovo regions tourism and recreation cluster Kladez Zemli Kostromskoi (Wellspring of the land of Kostroma) is being constructed. The project will consolidate several objects. They are the hotel complex Romanov Ples (Romanov’s Reach), Sumarokov’s elk farm, tourist complex Krasnaya Gorka (Red Hill), ethnographic and craft village Kostromskaya Votchina (Kostroma Patrimony), a yacht club and a Centre of Active Forms of Tourism.
The complex will include a restaurant and club Russkaya Trapeza (Russian Feast), the animal enclosure park, stables, gardens, and an experimental farm. As expected, the cluster will take about 1,200 hectares in Krasnoselskiy area in Kostroma region. The project aimed primarily on the development of eventful, adventure, wedding and ecological types of tourism. For the construction of tourism and recreation cluster during 2013-2014 80 million RUB will be assigned. It is to be recalled, that according to the programme for the development of tourism in 2016 Kostroma region plans to increase the number of tourists by 65%.
