Spring Began in St. Petersburg Botanical Garden

Despite the intense continued cold spring began in St. Petersburg Botanical Garden. It's time of subtropical plants flowering.


In this regard, guests of garden have been offered a new guided tour, involving seven greenhouses with flowering azaleas and camellias. According to the Petersburg legend, spring begins in the city when azaleas start blooming in the Botanical Gardens. A collection of flowers in the garden is the largest in Russia and extends back over hundred varieties of this plant. It is possible to visit this tour any day, except Monday, from 11.00 a.m. till 5.00 p.m.
