Space Tourists Will Be Trained in Sheremetyevo

Sheremetyevo Airport and Aerophobia treatment centre "Letaem bez Straha (Flying without Fear)" have launched the world's first training centre for space tourists.


      

 In the frameworks of the project psychological preparation and guiding of space tourist teams and individual astronauts will be realized. Special-purpose and aircrew training equipment was installed in the airport and trainers with high aeronautic and psychological skills were involved. Russian Space tourists will depart from Sheremetyevo on charter flights to the spaceport of the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan and the United States. Russia is among the leaders in the amount of applications for private spaceflight.
