Dombai and Krasnaya Polyana Are the Leaders of Russian Ski Resorts

In the top ten countries wirh ski resorts in 2013 the Russians included France, Austria, Russia, Finland, Bulgaria, Andorra, Italy, Switzerland, Norway and the United States. As for ski resorts of Russia, the leaders are Krasnaya Polyana and Dombay. The rating is based on the hotel reservation information in recent months.


The rapidly developing ski resort Krasnaya Polyana is one of the most popular. The resort, located at the bottom of the Greater Caucasus Mountain Range at an altitude of 550 metres above sea level and surrounded with mountains of 2,000 and 3,000 metres tall, has a developed infrastructure.


Dombai, surrounded with the Caucasus Mountains, attract skiers and snowboarders not only from Russia, but from all the world. Dombai ski centres have different routes, aimed on the very different levels of ski training.
