Museum of the outstanding film director Alexei German Sr. will be opened this summer in the Lenfilm Studio, Petersburg.

      It has been reported by Edward Pitchugin, the director general of Lenfilm JSC.

      According to him, Alexei Yuryevich German Museum will be founded on the basis of the film director’s private office, which is located in the film studio. Presently work on sketches of the project is carried out in order to somewhat enliven the master’s office.

      “Everything can be implemented in case of participation of his family and colleagues, who lived and worked with Alexey Yuryevich. Now it is time for completing the work, i.e. all efforts are focused on completing the film It Is Hard to Be God. It is challenging. I think that once this work has been over, the next step will be completing the museum” – Mr. Pitchugin said.
