Alexander Vasilyev Fashion Exhibition to be Held in Museum of Moscow

On May 17 the Museum of Moscow will open the exhibition Fashion in the Mirror of History: 200 Years of Fashion in Russia.

It will present exhibits from collections of the fashion historian and TV host Alexander Vasilyev.

As the organizers point out, it will for the first time show to visitors the biggest part of Alexander Vasilyev’s collection brought from France — about 200 dresses and 400 accessories of different epochs, from the Empire style to the 2000s — along with exhibits from the museum collection itself, among which there are unique dresses, wedding attires, bathing suits and leisure wears of the 19th-20th centuries.

The exhibition runs till October 1.
