St.Petersburg artist Petr Pavelensky shocked the passers-by and police when he undressed and wrapped inside barbed wire in front of the local legislature.

      It's a protest against an aggressive legislative framework where every independent move encounters harsh response by the authorities, his supporters explained.

      In July 2012, the artist sewed up his mouth in protest against Pussy Riot's imprisonment.
