Firebird - the traditional 8th Festival of Folk Artists of Russia – will be held in the All-Russia Exhibition Centre from May 7 to May 11.
Visitors will see creations by artists from different regions of Russia, attend fashion shows, and performances by folklore collectives.
Thus, the North Treasures exhibition will introduce public into national ethnic clothes of the Russian North. Visitors will also get acquainted with indigenous ecotourism, i.e. staying in conditions close to natural ones: raw-hide tent, tundra and so forth.
The Rostov Region will display its famous enamel, Torzhok will show its gold embroidery, Orenburg will demonstrate its shawls, etc.
The festival will be held in Pavilion 69 of the All-Russia Exhibition Centre. Entrance is free.
