Russia’s consumer rights watchdog has won a legal battle against Youtube over an alleged suicide propaganda clip.

The court agreed with the decision of the Federal Service for Consumer Protection and Welfare that the video uploaded to the popular host provider is promoting suicide and is detrimental to children’s health.

Earlier, Google-controlled Youtube complied with the ban request filed by the government agency but later challenged it in court saying the aim of the video is pure entertainment.
