Ahead of multiple sportive events in Russia the visa-free entry has been granted to sports delegations that enter the country to take part in competitions.

      The sportstmen, their coaches and trainers, as well as officials and referees, will be granted a visa-free entry for the duration of the competition. They will need to produce a proof of identity, recognised in Russia, as well as an accreditation. 

      The right for a visa-free entry for sporstmen is likely to extend until 2018, when Russia hosts the UEFA World Cup in football.
