Photo Exhibition on Liv Ullmann and Ingmar Bergman Opened in Moscow

The Lumière Brothers Photography Center has opened a photo exhibition dedicated tp Liv Ullmann and Ingmar Bergman - one of the best-known couples in the history of cinema.

Brilliant cooperation of the Norwegian actress and the Swedish film director provided to the Scandinavian cinema a place of honor in the history of world motion picture art and formed the basis for further development of auteur cinema in all Northern countries.

They got acquainted in 1964 and lived together for five years. Continuing their cooperation even afterwards, they created altogether twelve movies, nine of them starring Liv Ullmann. 

The exhibition runs till June 23.
