Exhibition of Mai Miturich Starts in Moscow

From May 18 to July 6 the Kovcheg Gallery will be holding an exhibition of graphic art and paintings by Mai Petrovitch Miturich (1925 - 2008).

      
It is Kovcheg’s third exhibition dedicated to representatives of the well-known art dynasty: earlier it displayed Neighbours (2010) about creative interaction of Peter Miturich and Peter Lvov during their collaboration in the VKHUTEMAS (Higher Art and Technical Studios) and 10 Summers and 17 Winters (2012) about the family life of Peter Miturich and Vera Khlebnikova.

      
Mai Petrovitch Miturich-Khlebnikov was born on May 29, 1925 into the family of artists in Moscow.  In November, 1942 he left for the frontline and reached Berlin.

      
Mai Miturich is the author of numerous water colors and illustrations for children’s books.
