“Mikhailovskoye” Will Ask For UNESCO Protection

The museum-preserve “Mikhailovskoye” may become a UNESCO monument. The State memorial and natural-landscape museum-preserve of A.S. Pushkin “Mikhailovskoe” is preparing to museum centenary, that will be celebrated in 2022. According to Georgiy Vasilievich, the museum director, it is planned to build a small museum city on the surrounding area of the scientific-cultural museum center.


      

Besides, it is possible that the museum-preserve will be added to the list of UNESCO world cultural heritage nominees. The document should be presented for the museum Scientific council consideration and shall be confirmed  till the 20 of November.
