Hermitage Museum is becoming even more “Italian” thanks to works by the sculptor, artist and writer, who had a huge impact on art life of Tuscany and Italy in the 20th century and added to the vigour of creative discussions of the epoch that remain essential today.
The exhibition of works by the master from Seano is another valuable opportunity for further development of the relations between Italy and Russia.
Quinto Martini was an artist who defended the social role of art and at the same time was committed to inherent values of the peasant world, and managed to create works, many of which now decorate parks and squares of Italian cities.
The exhibition will take place in halls of the 2nd floor in the Hermitage Museum from May 25 to June 30.
