The museum of the famous teacher Ilya Ulyanov, the father of Vladimir Lenin was opened in Penza after the reconstruction. 13,1 million roubles were spent from the city budgets.


      

Ilya Ulyanov, the senior teacher of mathematics of Penzian noble institute met Maria Blank, there, in Penza. The parents of Vladimir Ulyanov Lenin got married also there. The museum of Ilya Ulyanov was opened in 1970 in an old building of Penzian noble institute, where Ulyanov worked as a teacher of physics and mathematics since 1855 till 1863. The capital repairs of the building were conducted, and systems of lightning, heating and ventilation were replaced. Now, it is a modern building comfortable for visiting.
