Famous Heroes Made Of Sand Will Adorn Rostov City

The exhibition of sand sculptures of heroes and characters from the famous Russian movie “Ivan Vasilyevich changes profession” will be opened on Friday in Rostov the Great.


      

The exhibition organized by the Union of Russian Artists is coincided with the 40-year anniversary of the famous film of Leonid Gaidai. Many scenes of the film were made in the Rostov Kremlin. In particular, here was the film residence of Ivan the Terrible, where pseudo-tsar ran away from the guard in the roofed crossings. Viewers will recognize the genius inventor Shurik (Alexander) Timofeev with his time machine and Anton Semenovich Shpak, the scribe of the ambassadorial department, the Sweden ambassador and other film heroes.


      

The exhibition will take place near the Rostov Kremlin and will last the whole summer.
