The gun museum of Tula may become the best in the world.

The museum of Tula presented the project of its constant exposition. The future exposition will take area of 5 thousand square meters (now 1 thousand square meters). The base of the project concept will be the image of a fort, protecting a wall. It is planned to create a museum of the world standard using advanced technologies and innovations. 

The gun museum in Tula is one of the oldest in the country. It was built and attached to the gun plant, which was created according to the order of Peter I in 1712. The collection of the museum has been formed since 1724. The opening of the new building of the museum, made in the form of a hero helmet was conducted in March of 2012 after 12 years of the construction.
