A new temple will appear in Ulan-Ude. The construction of the new temple started in Ulan-Ude. It is planned to place the biggest sculpture of one of the most respected Buddhist idols in the temple of Arya Baly. The cedar statue of Avalokiteshvar will be 21-meter high.

The architecture of the temple has forms with many-tier centrical composition and many-colored decorative design. These forms are traditional for the cult architecture of Republic of Buryatia. The teachers of Buddhist art faculty of “Dashi Choinhorlin” university will take part in the work of the statue construction. They plan to construct a big building that has an area of three thousand square meters. That will be enough to take at a glance the whole figure of the idol. As soos as the construction is finished, all believers will get an opportunity to bow and get a bless of Arya Baly.
