VTB plans to pay out record-high dividends since its IPO in 2007, says a corporate press release.

The Supervisory Council’s decision is pending approval by the upcoming Annual General Meeting to be held on June 28, 2013.

If the proposal is okayed, shareholders will receive ‘RUB 0.00143 per ordinary registered share, with a nominal value of RUB 0.01, for the year 2012’, says the official statement on the bank’s website.

The dividend payments would total RUB 14,959 million, which corresponds to 16.5% of VTB Group net profit under IFRS.
