On May 30 the Izmailovo Gallery will open a new collective exhibition to present works by six gifted young artists.
The participants of the exhibition are from 23 to 41 years old, graduates of Russia’s leading art higher education institutions, such as the Surikov Institute and the Ilya Glazunov Painting, Sculpture and Architecture Academy.
The exposition will include works dedicated to beauty and abundance of the Russian land – a picturesque excursion around historical places, towns and open spaces. The works presented at the exhibition convey significant events of history, imprint architectural monuments, items of ancient and modern household, portraits and characters of modern young Russians. Visitors will see works in the genre of lyrical and town landscape, historical painting, still life and portrait of the contemporary.
The exposition will comprise 72 artworks created in different techniques: from large oil paintings to the chamber gouache or water color works.
The exhibition will last till June 23.
