Popularity Of Cruise-liners to Saint-Petersburg Goes Up

The passenger traffic of the port “Morskoy Fasad” in Saint-Petersburg will increase by 19% in 2013 in comparison with 2012, up to more than 500 thousand people. The navigational season was opened on the 2nd of May and will last till the 30th of November. Port accepts about 60 ships per month. Since the beginning of its work, the passenger port accepted 728 cruise and 195 ferry ships from 2008 till 2012. At the same time the general passenger traffic makes 1,573 million people. 


      

The specialized passenger port “Morskoy Fasad” is situated on the alluvial territories of Vasilyevskiy island of Saint-Petersburg. The complex of the port includes seven moorages for accepting ocean liners, three cruise and one specialized ferry terminal.
