On the 25-26 of May the second festival of historical fencing “By paths of history” took place in Blagoveschensk. Individual and group fights with the use of steel weapon, historical dances, performances of art-fencers and fire dancers twere shown in the festival. 

The representatives of decorative and applied arts showed their works. Historical middle-aged fight is a new sport, which includes full-contact fight similar to fights with the middle-aged armor. Almost real weapon is used. Its main difference from the historical models is a not edged blade. It is permitted to take part in a fight only in absolutely safe armors because of a high level of an injury risk.
