Exhibition of Boris Grebenshchikov Opened in St. Petersburg

Pushkinskaya-10 Art Center in Petersburg has arranged a surprise for admirers of the Aquarium band frontman Boris Grebenshchikov: an exhibition of landscapes by him.

The paintings represent well-known Petersburg sights, which have become the landmarks of the city, but in improbable color rendition. Among the works by the leader of the Aquarium band there are not only pictures, but also photos. The entire Small Hall of the art center is dedicated to the exhibition.

Boris Grebenshchikov considers Claude Monet as one of the best artists in world history of art. His paintings cause childish joy and one feels like looking at them infinitely, the art musician says.

The exhibition runs till June 23.
