June 6 will see the premiere of the film Gagarin. The First One in Space in Russian movie theaters.

      The movie is dedicated to the first steps of mankind on the way of space exploration and at first hand the destiny of the first spaceman Yury Gagarin.

      It is the first attempt of creating a large-scale feature film about the great astronaut. 

      The film director is Pavel Parkhomenko, whereas the lead is played by Yaroslav Zhalnin.

      Yaroslav Zhalnin is a native of Nizhni Tagil in the Ural. Since his childhood he was engaged in ballroom dancing classes, circus acrobatics, and amateur performances. At the age of 17 he arrived in Moscow and entered the Actors’ Faculty of the VGIK. Since 2010 Yaroslav Zhalnin has been working in the Bu…theater studio at the Bulgakov House, and has been actively into filming.
