The unusual monument, Russia’s only one of the kind, might appear this year in one of the streets of Zadonsk town of the Lipetsk Region. 

      Here they want to set up on a pedestal a typographical machine – a linotype, on which regional newspapers and other printed materials were issued quite recently. 

      The linotype under glass protection will be set up in Zadonsk near the house, where the future museum of the regional press of the Lipetsk region will be located. As organizers report, up to 80 percent of all necessary exhibits have already been collected, and repair works are carried out in the future museum premises. The opening of the regional press museum in Zadonsk is expected on the eve of the 60th anniversary since formation of the Lipetsk Region.
