FC Terek Grozny has signed a new coach, dismissing Stanislav Cherchesov.
Former Lokomativ and Anzhi manager Yury Krasnozhan joined the Chechen team on a three-year contract, according to the club's official website.
He will replace Stanislav Cherchesov who took up the post last year to lead the Grozny side to an historic eighth place.
The team had a chance to finish sixth, but rivals' wins in the final rounds left Terek out of Europa League.
Cherchesov fell out of favour with the president of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, say experts.
