The Moscow Triumph Gallery has opened a Yosman Botero exhibition, in which the Colombian artist reinterprets axiomatic plots in 3D - paintings on plexiglas.
For the first time Yosman Botero is introducing his project Usual Things in Moscow. To give to his painting an illusion of a 3D format, the artist paints his works on numerous layers of plexiglas imposed on each other. In his photographic images he reinterprets well familiar plots of classical and modern art — from Botticelli to Warhol.
The exhibition runs till June 23.
