Retrospective Exhibition of Ksenia Nechitailo Opened in Moscow

Exhibition Halls of the Academy of Arts present a retrospective of Ksenia Nechitailo – a vivid exponent of Soviet Art.

Anxious thoughts about the present and future of Russia, reconsideration of its historical experience and reflections about destinies of contemporaries distinguish the creativity of the well-known artist Ksenia Nechitailo, a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Arts.  The personal retrospective is timed to the master’s anniversary.

The retrospective in the Russian Academy of Arts covers over forty years of the artist’s career, since the 1960s-1970s till today. The exposition includes about 80 works from funds of the State Tretyakov Gallery and the artist’s collection. Lots of the displayed works have been created in the recent decade.

The exhibition runs till June 30, 2013.
