The well-known CocoRosie band from the USA is coming to Russia. It will be the headliner of the 10th international music festival Avantfest to be held in Moscow on July 27 and 28.

      Along with CocoRosie the festival program will present bands from Great Britain and Spain. In the framework of the event a show case of new music from Ukraine will also take place. Among the Russian participants there is the Moscow band Silence Kit, which will also act as the curator of some part of the program.

      Organizers point out that in honor of the anniversary the entrance to lots of concerts will be free. However those wishing to see the show of CocoRosie will have to pay. The band will play on a fee-based stage on the second day of the festival.

      Besides the traditional concert part, visitors will have a chance to take part in lectures, discussions and workshops in the morning hours of the festival.
