Passengers may travel by train with their cars

Starting July 1, 2013 The Russian Railways start offering a service of transporting personal automobiles by trains between Moscow and St. Petersburg.

      The train # 30/29 travelling between Moscow and St. Petersburg will transport from three to five cars at a time. A passenger and his/her automobile should travel by one train. The application for transporting a car is proceeded at buying a ticket for the train #30/29. The cost of the service varies from $130 to $195 depending on the car class and the number of tickets bought. The train departs from Moscow at 01.10MSK and arrives in St. Petersburg at 09.39MSK. Returning back from St. Petersburg at 22.15 MSK and arrives in Moscow at 05.15MSK next day.
