Russia's Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) moves against Gazprom's acquisition of power generation firm Kvadra.

The gas giant has a big share in the energy sector in the European part of Russia at the moment, and the purchase would undermine the reform to privatize the industry introduced several years ago, believes Igor Artemyev, head of FAS.

This is a third potential deal for Gazprom in the energy sector blocked by the anti-trust agency.
