In a short time plant road verges will appear alongside Moscow highways. The first green plant barriers can emerge just at the end of this summer.

The priority is given to major arterial roads: to Prospect Mira street and Varshavskoye, Kashirskoye, Leningradskoye, Rublyovskoye highways. Roadsides will be equipped with original hanging gardens. Vertical greenery will be settled on some zones along the streets. The plants are selected according with their tolerance to harsh urban environment. There are begonia, petunia, marigold, Siberian peashrub and nasturtium among nominated plants.
