Greenpeace Project: Report On Waste Water

Greenpeace gathers information about level of Moscow rivers pollution.


This summer Greenpeace Russia is going to investigate the situation with removing of the raw waste waters in Moscow rivers. Next week the specially equipped boat from Greenpeace will run in the Moskva River and in its tributaries and will control the level of water pollution. The monitoring results will be sent in the governing organization and will be published on the website of Greenpeace. The boat crew will select water samples, discover illegal run offs and emergency removing of the contaminators from the enterprises. The analysis of water samples will be done in the special laboratories. Water petrol will show the data which indicates the real level of Moscow river pollution. Authoritative and objective information about river condition and the culprits of Moscow rivers contamination will be available for every Muscovite.


Moreover the organization is interested in not only official data, but in the information from usual citizens. Greenpeace asks everybody, who has any information about enterprises removing raw waste waters in Moscow rivers and about places of similar run offs to report about it . In order to do this it’s necessary to fill the form on the Greenpeace website.
