Moscow railway offered a new service. Now customers can take along their cars in their train trips. A special carriage hitched on to the night train 29/30 from Moscow to Saint Petersburg can take up to three to five cars depending on their size. A car must be brought for shipment 2.5 hours before departure. Unloading takes much less time, according to the Russian Railways representative’s words.

Such transportation will cost 6000 roubles. This is going to be the first experience in commercial overland shipping of personal transport across Russian territory and if it is a success and finds its customers, the service will be advanced to the Southern branch lines of the Russian railroad.
