Day of Russia in Kamchatka

The Day of First Fish passes in Kamchatka. First Fish Day, the national ceremonial holiday, was devoted to the Day of Russia celebration in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. It started with a concert on Lenin Square.


After that the action moved to ethnographic platform "Kukht's place" near Kultuchnoye Lake. There were folk dancing teams at the celebration - "Lach", "Lachakh", "Nothern Dawns", "School Years". The holiday participants were suggested to pass the Purification Ceremony, to get acquainted with indigenous Kamchatka's nations' crafts, to taste national dishes and fresh-soup. The Day of First Fish was finished with ethnodisco.
