The Air Code of RF is going to be corrected to exclude food charge and baggage handling from ticket price.

“If you are flying without luggage it doesn’t mean that you have not paid for its handling. Baggage should be paid by those who fly with the luggage, and those who do not shouldn’t pay for it”- said the deputy of the Ministry of Transport of RF Valeriy Okulov. If passengers need such kind of services they should pay for it additionally. The amendments to the Air Code also provide the exemption for airlines to compensate ticket cost in case of passenger failure from the flight.
