Aeroexpress Trains to Pulkovo Airport

The project received the official track. High-speed train will stop at the new airport terminal, cross Pulkovo highway and go to the Baltic station by the existing railway.

It is planned to build the track without turning circle. The high speed train will take passengers from the platform between the current terminal Pulkovo-1 and new air terminal building. According to preliminary information, travel time will be no more than half an hour. Until recent times, the governor of St. Petersburg assumed it would be better to build a new metro line to Pulkovo. However, on the meeting of the development of transport node in St. Petersburg it was decided that aeroexpress is cheaper and faster in execution.
