Parking In the Center: Free Of Charge At Night

Sergei Sobyanin said that the Moscow authorities are considering the possibility of the cancellation of fee for car parking in the center of the capital.

Since last autumn some streets in the center of Moscow have become paid for the parking. Since June 1 of the current year paid zone has extended to the whole territory within the Boulevard Ring. Now, to leave the car on the road network in this territory, it is needed to pay 50 rubles for each hour of parking. Local residents and people with disabilities can park free of charge in the project area from 20:00 to 8:00. Free parking in the night hours can be spread to all citizens. First, however, the authorities intend to develop the issue in detail.
