Chelyabinsk Meteorite May Become a Fountain Or a Mosaic

17-23 June 2013 at the site of the head of the Chelyabinsk region the final vote campaign "Become famous with a meteorite" was held. Prior to that, five finalist ideas have been selected: Extreme Park, meteor fountain installation in the form of broken window by meteorite, meteorite mosaic in one of the houses of Chelyabinsk and commemorative coins. All the projects have been finalized by professional designers, who refined the initial plan of authors. The winner of the campaign will be announced later, followed by an award ceremony. The idea with the highest number of votes will be realized, and its author will receive 100,000 roubles. The authors of the projects, who took second and third place prizes, are waiting for 50 and 30 thousand roubles, respectively.
