Siberian Fire: an Open-Air Museum

Second interregional military-historical festival "Siberian fire" was held in Kolyvanskoe district of the Novosibirsk region.


      

On the festival meadow in the village of Great Oesh enactors and members of the military-patriotic clubs from 40 cities of Russia and Kazakhstan gathered together. This year's festival was dedicated to the 310th anniversary of the founding Umrevinskogo burg and the 300th anniversary of Chaussy burg. Five of the festival grounds, dedicated to different historical periods, were the open-air museums. Participants of the festival staged for viewers exhibition trials, battles and tournaments, master classes, fairs and performances by folk ensembles, lectures on the history and role of the Siberian burgs in the Patriotic War of 1812, World War I and World War II.
