Top-lot auction, as expected, was the picture of Vasily Kandinsky "Sketch for Improvisation 3", sold for 13 million 501 thousand 875 pounds of estimate at 12-16 million pounds.
18 lots were sold at the evening auction of the auction house for amounts in excess of one million pounds sterling. Two records were set for artists: Eugène Boudin and Constantin Brancusi. "Portrait of Paul Guillaume" Amadeo Modigliani’s brush was the second lot of the cost of trading - the painting was sold for almost 6.8 million pounds of estimate 5.7 million. The third place - "The woman in the chair" by Picasso, sold for 6.1 million pounds (estimated cost is $ 6.4 million).
