On the occasion of its semicentennial anniversary the well-known sound recording company Melody has started an online store with its digitized records.
As the director general of the Melody company Andrey Krichevsky points out, music fans will now have an opportunity to download albums or separate tracks in the digital format on the company’s site.
Every track costs 12 rubles. It is cheaper than buying music in iTunes, where tracks are on sale at 16 to 19 rubles each. So far all the compositions are presented in the wav format, however later they will be available in MP3 and flac.
