Valentin Pikul Monument to be Unveiled in Murmansk

Monument to the well-known Soviet marine writer Valentin Pikul (1928-1990) will be unveiled in Murmansk on June 13.


      
Yury Zadvorny, the head of one of the region’s fishing companies has reported about it.

      The monument will be set up at the crossing of the Burkov Street and the Taran Street in the regional center. It was created in Smolensk and has already been delivered to Murmansk.

      The corner stone on the place of the future monument to the writer was established in a mini-park by School No. 1 two years ago.
