Lola Lonli Introduces Her Universe to Moscow

The Nicholas Roerich International Center Museum has opened the personal exhibition Multi-Color Sparks of the Universe by the artist Lola Lonli.

In her works the artist often resorts to plots of eposes, myths and legends of world cultures. Her pictures are created in refined author's technique based on layer-by-layer painting in egg distemper with mineral pigments and essential oils. The artist prepares the paints herself.

The paintings presented at the exhibition introduce two periods of Lola Lonli’s creativity - early works (Other Spaces series) and those created in the last two years (Series of Portraits of Jazz Musicians).

The exhibition runs till August 25.
