Lake Baikal will attract tourists with newly built theme park

The Minister of Nature plans to build a theme park, titled Reserved Russia, in the place of the Baikal Pulp and paper Mill. The park is to become the heart of the recreation zone near Baikal, it will attract lots of tourists and will provide for job places to the local people. Foreign tourists will also be interested in bottled drinking water from Lake Baikal, which will be enriched by minerals.


      

The park project is to be approved in December 2013.


      

Vnesheconombank (VEB) has agreed to finance creating the recreation complex and to pay 2 billion Rubles debt of the Baikal Pulp and paper Mill.
